San Francisco (Oct. 20, 2008) - Lester Dominick, CEO of
MortgageFlex Systems, Inc., Jacksonville, Fla., received a commendation in the Steve Fraser Award category, presented
by Mortgage Technology Magazine at ceremonies held here during the 95th Annual
Convention of the Mortgage Bankers Association.
Dominick was one of three finalists
for the award, which was one of seven conferred by the magazine, part of
SourceMedia. The Steve Fraser Award is presented to individuals who
have a reputation for being an innovator or ‘pushing the envelope’ to improve mortgage
products and services. Over the years,
Dominick has gained wide recognition as a leader in advancing mortgage
technology.
Dominick was selected as a Steve Fraser finalist in honor of his
industry career, which spans almost three decades and includes over 200
successful implementations. He has been referred to as a “pioneer of the LOS”
for his success in upgrading mortgage technology tools.
Dominick
has grown MortgageFlex from a self-funded, small start-up company to become a
prominent player and competitor in the mortgage technology business. The company often is often referred to as a
trend-setter and is considered a significant component in the transformation of
the entire mortgage process from point-of-sale to servicing. There are only a handful of other companies
that can compete with its longevity - a true testament of lasting impact.
Even amidst the recent market turbulence, Dominick has
remained invested in seeking new solutions and methods to enhance his LoanQuest
product line. He defined the downturn as
a period to re-think and re-shape technology so the industry will be ready to
offer its customers state-of-the-art solutions.
However, it is his integrity and
vast industry knowledge that has allowed Dominick and his company to have such
a successful tenure in the mortgage arena. Earlier this year, he was named an
“Industry Pioneer” by Mortgage Banking Magazine. In the feature, Dominick was

“loyal.” His entrepreneurial spirit gave him the drive and determination to go
up against big business and succeed.
