We need to keep growing this space to support the need for affordable housing!<\/p>\n<p>Monthly\u00a0Manufactured Home production:\u00a0September production changed by\u00a0+10.8%\u00a0year-over-year.\u00a0Production\u00a0was\u00a0up\u00a016.1% year-to-date. (Table 3)<br \/>\n\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Monthly\u00a0Manufactured Home shipments:\u00a0In\u00a0September 2024,\u00a0single-section shipments\u00a0were\u00a0up 11.1% year-to-date.\u00a0Multi-section\u00a0shipments increased by 20.2%\u00a0year-to-date.\u00a0(Tables 9-10)<br \/>\n\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Annual Rate of Shipments:\u00a0The seasonally adjusted annual rate of shipments (SAAR)\u00a0was\u00a0105,770\u00a0(11% higher than 2023).<br \/>\n\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Regional Performance:\u00a08 of the 9 divisions across the country experienced growth in shipments from Sep 2023 to Sep 2024. The divisions with the greatest\u00a0percent\u00a0increase\u00a0in\u00a0shipments\u00a0were\u00a0West North Central (99 homes and +35.9% Year-over-Year increase), Mountain (95 homes; 19.6% increase), and Middle Atlantic (41 homes; 14.3% increase). (Table E2)<br \/>\n\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0FEMA\u00a0had\u00a020 home\u00a0shipments in September.\u00a0FY2024 total\u00a0was\u00a0163 homes\u00a0(excluding adjustments).<br \/>\n\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Current Manufactured Home landscape\u00a0includes\u00a0152 plants\u00a0and\u00a038 manufacturers.\u00a0Two new plants opened, one in Mississippi and one in North Carolina. (Table 26)<br \/>\n\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Manufactured Homes as % of Single-Family Home Starts: Manufactured Homes accounted for\u00a09.1%\u00a0of single-family home starts in Sep 2024.
