FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
September 2025
MortgageFlex is happy to announce that Common Sense Lending (CSL) in Birmingham, Alabama, has successfully implemented the MortgageFlex suite of new cloud solutions for origination, servicing, and default. This release represents the completion of the company’s vision of a full life-of-loan platform utilizing a shared cloud-native tech stack. All products share the same DNA, including architecture, reporting tools, tailoring tools, system administration tools, user interfaces, and third-party integrations. Designed to support mortgages, HELOCS, chattel, and consumer lending, the system enables lenders and servicers to tailor it through using low-code/no-code tools. This allows them to create queue-based workflows, add screens/fields, create rules to manage fees and field-level requirements, and utilize default templates. The platform is a much more flexible and cost-effective model than the current, outdated legacy platforms. This is the fifth generation of the company’s LOS platform and the industry’s first life-of-loan ecosystem with shared DNA.
“When CSL partnered with us late last year, they knew we were about to release our new cloud LOS and volunteered to be the first customer on the new solution and to implement both solutions simultaneously. While not an easy task for any-sized organizations, they did a stellar job with the projects and met the timeframes that they desired. They were also instrumental in the rollout of a new version of our Consumer Portal, Dealer Portal, and Borrower/Customer service portals,” said Craig Bechtle, MortgageFlex Chief Operating Officer
“From the very beginning of our partnership, the MortgageFlex team remained consistently engaged and supportive throughout the entire transition. We understood that being the first customer on the cloud-based system would bring challenges, but through the collaboration and dedication of all project members, we successfully overcame them together. It has become evident that the MortgageFlex team truly cares about providing tailored solutions to fit our company’s needs. Equally important, their ongoing support and responsiveness to our feedback have made the partnership invaluable. We could not be more pleased with both the platform and the team behind it, “ said Dustin Redden, General Manager, VP of Operations
